Actress Billie Burke, the wife of Florenz Ziegfeld famously played The Good Witch of the North in the classic film Wizard of Oz. Billie created this club in 1937 to empower women who dedicated their lives to working in theater. This club is still alive today and continues to honor her mission. Darlynn Eyewear's Style Nanon is a tribute to The Ziegfeld Club's Executive Director, Laurie Sanderson's grandmother who was a Ziegfeld Follies performer.
